Every single pup has their own personal space that allows them some alone time between group play sessions. This is important to allow rest and recovery time and also is more healthy for the pups compared to full-time group play.

Our small group play sessions have the lowest attendant to dog ratio in Smyrna and beyond. These low ratios improve safety and allow more personalized care.

Dogs prefer routine and this leads to reduced stress. Our daily programs are structured and the dogs quickly learn the routine and often know what’s coming next before we give any indication.

We carefully construct and customize play groups based on the pups present each day in order to ensure safety and best fit each pup to their needs and preferences (play buddies, etc).

And with Lucy’s Veterinary Care onsite, professional veterinary support is available if needed—providing an added layer of confidence and care.

Dr. Kathy Baker
Dr. Kathy Baker, co-owner, is a seasoned veterinarian with over 20 years of experience. She was the medical director at a large veterinary clinic for years and now owns and practices at Lucy’s Veterinary Care, co-located with Best Little Dog House in Georgia. She oversees and advises all aspects of health and safety at Best Little Dog House in Georgia.
DJ Baker
DJ Baker, co-owner, is husband to Dr. Kathy Baker and has years of experience in the pet industry as part of Lucy’s Veterinary Care and Lucy’s Pet Grooming. DJ also has business and technology experience which he brings to the team. He is also experienced at leading and managing great teams and is very active with the team.
